Application tips

Frost effect

1. Create your styling using gel polish, gel, acrylic gel or acrylic.
2. Apply a no-wipe top coat and leave it uncured.
3. Gently sprinkle the Mermaid Effect over the wet top coat
4. Cure for 60 seconds. A slightly longer curing time helps ensure durability.
5. Brush away excess powder.
6. Do not apply another top coat to keep the frosted texture and sparkle intact.

Smooth effect

1. Create your styling and cure the second layer of colour.
2. Rub the Mermaid Effect into the sticky layer, or use Effect Base and cure it for 30 seconds before rubbing in the powder.
3. Remove excess dust with a soft brush.
4. Apply your chosen Indigo gel polish top, such as Wet Look, sealing the free edge carefully.
5. Cure for 30–60 seconds in a Multi LED lamp.
6. Let the top cool for about a minute to preserve maximum shine.
7. If needed, remove the dispersion layer with Shea Super Shine Cleaner.
8. For an extra polished finish, buff gently with a dry, lint-free pad until you hear a soft squeak.
